A Little Bit About Me...
My name is Lotte Friend Bonneau and I graduated from Dickinson College with my B.S. in Biology and Women's Studies with a concentration in health.
After College I attended the Florida College of Natural Health and graduated with a 500+ hour massage therapy certification.
I am currently certified and licensed in South Carolina. I am also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and my profile on the AMTA website shows my continuing education and credentials. I am in the process of renewing my National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork NCTMB.
This past May 2011 I graduated from Winthrop University S.C., with my Masters in Social Work. Currently I am still working full time with therapeutic massage therapy, yoga, and sports. See my yoga page for more information about yoga.
During my high school and undergraduate education I spent time studying in both Costa Rica and Australia and I also ran varsity cross country. I have competed in a number of triathlons, one marathon, and one half ironman. My passion for athletics drives my interest in helping those living with pain and physical limitations to live a more active and pain free life.
I have previously worked in two day spa's and one chiropractors office for before returning for my second full time year in graduate school and working for myself. I enjoy working on my own so much I have decided to remain independent. I am happy to travel to local businesses for chair massages and I can make house calls when necessary.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to work with you in the process of meeting your pain management and stress reduction goals.
